1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you?
Park West collects information in a variety of ways from different parts of the service. During registration to the newsletter, Park West asks for your email address only. From time to time, we may ask you for personal information, including (but not limited to) when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by Park West. If you contact Park West, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
2. What are cookies and how are they used?
Park West uses cookies to store information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer. www.parkwest.ie uses cookies to tell whether a website user has visited the site before and to personalise the user’s visit to the website. Park West’s primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the user, with a customised experience. By knowing a little bit about you, Park West is able to deliver more relevant content and, hence, a better service to you. Park West also does research on our member’s demographics, interests and behaviour based on the information provided to us upon registration to the newsletter, during a promotion, from our server logs or from surveys. We do this to better understand our users. This research is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis.

As a general rule, Park West will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. 6. What are the choices available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of your information?
If you do not wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link included on all communications. You also have choices regarding cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies, your Park West website experience will not be personalised. Park West does not sell or rent user information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party who has an independent right to use your information and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service or not to participate in certain promotions or contests.
7. How can you access, update or delete your information?
If your personally identifiable information changes or you wish your information to be removed from our records, you may update or delete it by emailing Park West’s Management Team ic@parkwest.ie. We will give you access to your personally identifiable information that we hold within 30 days of a request to access. You may send a request to this email address ic@parkwest.ie. If you wish to stop receiving email newsletters, click on the unsubscribe link on any of the newsletters. We will retain your information for as long as required to deliver your service, agreement or resolve any issues.
8. What security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of the information?
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, considering the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal information. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. If a security breach causes an unauthorized intrusion into our system that materially affects you, then Park West Management will notify you as soon as possible and later report the action we took in response.
9. What else should I know about my privacy?
Please note that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, including in your correspondence within a discussion group, that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you disclose personal information online that is accessible to others, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. You should be aware that you access other websites, using the links provided, these are outside our control. If you provide personal data to other companies, the privacy policies of those companies determine the uses to which that information is put and the Park West’s Privacy Policy will no longer apply. This policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your information.
